Thank you for purchasing from Category Pirates. Due to the digital nature of our products and courses, all sales are subject to the following refund policy.
Digital Courses
The Category Design Academy & Strategy Therapy All purchases are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase. Once you gain access to course materials, no refunds will be issued.
Creator Capitalist We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, provided fewer than 50% of the course content has been accessed. Refund requests made after 14 days, or after accessing 50% or more of the content, will not be honored. You may be asked to provide evidence of implementation if requesting a refund after accessing course materials.
Digital Publications & Bundles
Due to the nature of digital content, purchases of mini-books, bundles, or other downloadable products are non-refundable once the content has been delivered or accessed.
Newsletter Subscriptions
Category Pirates newsletter subscriptions are managed through Substack, not Shopify. To manage or cancel your subscription, visit your Substack account settings. Refund requests for newsletter subscriptions should be directed to your Substack account. For details, see our full [Terms & Conditions].
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you qualify for a refund under this policy, email us at hello@categorypirates.com within the applicable refund window. Please include your order number and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback instead of contacting us directly, a $15 processing fee may be applied by our payment processor. We reserve the right to contest any chargeback and provide evidence of purchase and content delivery. We'd much rather work it out with you directly—so please reach out first.
